Original Intro Paragraph:Human trafficking is a horrible and unethical crime that is happening in the world today. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked worldwide. Traffickers use force, labor, or coercion to force them into doing things that they don’t want to do, especially sex, which is basically a modern-day form of slavery. This is a very controversial topic because there are well 20 million human trafficking victims worldwide. This gives the impression that a lot of men who believe this crime of using others and their bodies for pleasure is okay. Government officials try to use the concept of critical thinking to asses the who, what, where, when, and why of the sex traffickers, but there are very big limitations with this idea. In order to eventually put an end to human trafficking, officials need to use empathetic thinking to fuel their investigations. While critical thinking allows us to asses what is happening in human trafficking currently, empathetic thinking will drive creativity by opening the mind to predict future patterns, and eventually put an end to human trafficking.

Paragraph After Using The Klinkinborg Method: Human trafficking is a horrible and unethical crime that is happening in the world today. Millions of men, women, and children are trafficked every day. Traffickers use force, labor, or corecion to force them into having sex. Sex trafficking is like a modern-day form of slavery. This topic is very controversial because men think using bodies for their pleasure is okay. Government officials try to put an end to sex trafficking, but there are too many limitations. These limitations pose as roadblocks to stop the crime from happening once and for all. The usage of art can drive creativity to end this terrible crime. Critical thinking is good for assesing the scientific aspect of sex trafficking, but does not raise awareness. Art, in the form of photography, maps, graphs, charts, and posters can spread awareness around the world and put an end to sex trafficking.

Reflection: At first, I didn’t like using this method because I felt like it made the paragraph super choppy. Using short sentences is honestly hard because it is harder to connect the points and it appears very chopped up. After reading my paragraph over, I actually liked it better than the first paragraph because it is right to the point. I know that the purpose of this method is to make every word count, and that is what I did in this paragraph. Every word I used is very important and is needed for the argument.
